FOR FORT COLLINS
ABOUT ME
A Neighbor You Can Trust
I'm a public educator, mental health professional, parent, neighbor, and volunteer who cares deeply about our community. After graduating from Colorado State University in 2002, I took an educational and professional tour of the Front Range before coming full circle, settling back in Fort Collins with my family in 2015.
A 2018 graduate of City Works 101, former member of the Fort Collins Women's Commission, and interim City Councilmember in District 4 from January to April of 2021, I recognize the importance of local government. Our City Council reflects the current values of our community and lays the groundwork for decades of future success. As a Fort Collins resident with a long-term stake in helping our city thrive, I will invest the time, energy, and care required to enhance and protect our vibrant community.
As a returning Councilmember in 2023, I will ensure increased accessibility and sustainability for all residents in the following focus areas:
1. Community Character
-Retention/promotion of local businesses
-Thoughtful development planning
-Focus on revitalization over gentrification
-Ample recreation opportunities
-Enhanced cultural resources
2. Long-Term Livability
-Employability at all skill levels
-Living wages for all
-Conveniently-located achievable housing
-Expanded public transit options
3. Environmental Sustainability
-Forward-thinking waste management
-Innovative alternative energy options
-Strengthened climate action plan
